PowerDay on the roof of Haasjover
We celebrated the official opening of PowerNEST Haasjeover and invited a select group to join us on the roof. We started with powerful, inspirational speeches from Rik Thijs [Wethouder klimaat, energie, grond en vergroening of Eindhoven], Jos Goijaerts [Director Investments of Trudo], and Alexander Suma [CEO & Founder of IBIS Power]. The gentlemen followed by pushing big green button to start the operation of the turbines and they started to spin to produce energy for the building. It is hard to see solar panels in action visually, but you can see turbines spinning from many different viewpoints in Eindhoven.
The afternoon was unforgettable as we were surrounded by our partners Pierre Kil of OpenRemote, Marcel Segers of Stimulus Programmamanagement, and our guests from the government, social housing organizations, newspapers, businesses, and IBIS Power ambassadors. Wouter Truffino [founder and CEO of Holland Proptech Contech] broadcasted the event live on social media to give our supporters worldwide a chance to see what is happening and share the joy.
#PowerNEST officially marked the start of energy production by pushing the “green button” of green energy with the song “Wind of Change”, The Scorpions.
Hopefully, the “Wind of Change” will positively impact urban environments and more buildings can use #PowerNEST to become energy independent from the grid and fight climate change.
This was a special moment in IBIS Power’s history, and we thank everyone who joined us in celebrating it.
