This week IBIS Power reached a major milestone by installing 3 modules of PowerNEST in Eden District in Rotterdam. It was a hectic and exciting day, and the result was a big success. We weren’t able to update you as much as we wanted throughout the day, and for that reason, we are sharing today the main highlights of the day.

We started on time at 8 am with the lifting of the first unit. The crane was already assembled and ready, and we had no unexpected issues. It was impressive to see the precision of rising and installing a 7.2 x 7.2 m structure on a roof xm high and we would like to thank Hejkoop (@HEIJKOOP kraanverhuur BV) and GSStaalwerken for that. No delays in any of the listings, and we were even able to finish earlier than planned, thanks to extensive and professional preparation from our team and everyone working on site.

We had the pleasure of talking with Nina Albers, Architect and Founder of ArchitectuurMaken, who shared with us how it was integrating PowerNEST in the design of the building and her insights about the project.

We also had the honor to show a full complete installation and hear about the sustainable vision of Rotterdam from Arno Bonte, Vice Mayor and Spokesman for Sustainability, Clean Air and the Energy Transition of the City of Rotterdam, and Ingrid Adriaanse, Spokesperson for Alderman Arno Bonte Sustainability, air quality, energy transition.

We were happy to see other guests and supporters who took the time to visit us and witness our achievement over a coffee or a glass of champagne. We finished ahead of time and celebrated especially.

We want to especially thank Blauwhoed for believing in PowerNEST, Stebru for allowing us to do this, our suppliers for complying with our high standards of quality, everyone that worked hard to deliver PowerNEST on time, and our team, for the engagement, the dedication, and the will to change the world together.
